It’s called the iPad!

It’s official! The new Apple tablet is out, it’s called the iPad and it’s kinda lame. Don’t think of Apple’s new product as a touchscreen laptop, think of it as a big ass iPhone with no camera that can’t make calls.

Here are the Pros:

- Big Bright touchpad screen with 1024 x 768 screen resolution

- The Apple aesthetic we’ve come to know and love. Thin, Sturdy, and OCD proof.

- A gazzillion apps.

- Nice eBook capabilities. Although, let’s be honest, all you’ll be reading on this thing is facebook.

- It’s um, bigger than an iPhone.

The Cons:

- Not a computer, just a big ass iPhone

- No Flash. Sorry Hulu.

- No Camera for video conferencing, etc.

- Running iPhone OS, not OSX.

- The Keyboard, heard it’s not great.

I’m sure you will still buy one… But I recommend waiting until version 2 when they will surely include the camera, flash and maybe even a real version OSX.
