Miami International Fashion Week 2010
Miami seems to be coming on strong for 2010… Fresh off the Wine and Food Festival, Miami International Fashion Week starts on March 15th and will run until the 20th. This year brings talent from South America, the Caribbean, as well as emerging designers and finalists. Also, Silvia Tcherassi will hold a special showcase this year as special guest designer.
Sponsored by Univision, The Webster, Tiffany & Co., and Stella Artois, among others, Miami International Fashion Week brings together designers from around the globe in a world-round showcase of trends, style and wearable art.
The shows will be held in Midtown and the organizers will offer different conferences around the area for members of the industry. For more information on this and the full schedule, click here.
After parties will take place at South Beach’s newest Klutch, SET, and MI-VI in Hallandale. Yes, Hallandale… I’m not exactly sure what they were thinking with this one.
To attend the shows or seminars, you can purchase tickets online for $25 or just show up at the venue day of, although I would strongly suggest getting them in advance.
Let’s see how many bedazzling and maxi dresses we can find this year. 15 points for each and floral prints gets you a double score! jk… sort of. Not really.
