Men’s Fashion Week: Fall 2010 (Part 1)
Here are my picks for MFW Fall 2010. This season was packed with tailoring: suits took over the runways. Also, cold weather friendly fabrics, such as velvet and wool were seen throughout most collections. Many designers have shown us that cropped pants are here to stay and that skinny isn’t the only way to go anymore; baggy, low-crotch, rolled up… finally some variation in pants.
The colors are classic. A large variety of warm grays, black of course, and some bold color accents that make the pieces stand out. My favorites? The roughness in Ann Demeulemeester, the classic Burberry Prorsum look, laid back sophistication at Dior Homme, the separates at Dries Van Noten, and the mix of proportions at Etro.
